To our Friends, Family and Valued Clients,
In the restaurant industry, we are very neutral about everything. Politics don’t pair well with hospitality. I almost never betray this neutrality. I want everyone to feel welcome at The Riverside Inn, but recent events and behaviors are requiring me to advocate for my staff.

The Riverside Inn is now accepting resumes for the position of Executive Chef. Please see our official listing below.

Chef Peter Siagkris is nowhere to be found the last week of October. For the last 5 years he's left his chef coat behind in exchange for hunter orange and boarded the Manitou Island Transit ferry Mishe Mokwa headed to North Manitou Island. He and a large group of hunters from across the state leave the comforts of home to rough it for a week of pre-season deer hunting.
In May the Riverside Inn hosted Killarney Mountain Lodge Chef Kay Bonsu and his staff for Chefs Across the Great Lakes: a collaborative dinner exchange benefitting a charity of choice for the hosting restaurant.
